Day 1 •Saturday, June 20
Welcome to Paris! We are met upon arrival and
transferred to our hotel. This afternoon you may choose to take a neighborhood stroll or join us for an exciting bike tour of the highlights of this beautiful city. This evening join us for a welcome dinner. D
Day 2 •Sunday, June 21
This morning we attend church services and enjoy a jazz brunch before heading to
Versailles—the most sumptuous palace in Europe or you may choose to spend a relaxing afternoon in Paris. B/L
Day 3 •Monday, June 22
Our day begins where Paris did—on the Ile de la Cite. Visit the stunning Notre-Dame Cathedral and beautiful Sainte-Chapelle Church. After lunch, see the highlights of the famous Latin Quarter and catch a glimpse of medieval Paris in the outstanding Cluny Museum. Tonight, enjoy a city tour with monuments beautifully illuminated at night. B/D
Day 4 •Tuesday, June 23
Discover the fascinating history of Protestant Paris this morning. Our tour includes a visit to the secluded Calvin’s Tower where this great Reformer hid after being ex-communicated from the Catholic Church. Learn about the impact Calvin had on believers all over Europe, especially the Huguenots—Protestants who were persecuted for their beliefs and forced to flee France. Our journey through religious history includes the sight of the St. Bartholomew’s Day Massacre
and the heroes of the Protestant movement. The afternoon is free to discover more of the city on your own. This evening local believers join us for dinner and share about Christianity in France. B/D
Day 5 •Wednesday, June 24
This morning we explore the elegant Marais District—from its medieval beginnings, to its Jewish roots, and its rebirth as a chic shopping area. The afternoon is free for you to enjoy the neighborhood’s many museums and shops. After dinner this evening we take a private tour of the magnificent Louvre Museum and see the highlights of this outstanding collection. B
Day 6 •Thursday, June 25
Our day begins with a walk through the colorful Montmartre neighborhood—one time home to many Impressionist artists. Visit the imposing Sacre-Coeur Basilica and enjoy the spectacular view of Paris from its steps. This afternoon is free for more discoveries. Perhaps spend the afternoon in the world’s greatest Impressionist collection at the Musee d’Orsay or stroll the Champs Elysee. Don’t forget a visit to the Eiffel Tower! B
Day 7 •Friday, June 26
Today is free for your own discoveries. You’ve seen the highlights of this great city now it’s time to make your own special memories. Take a stroll through your favorite neighborhood, do some last minute shopping, visit any number of fascinating museums or just sit and soak up the ambiance in a local café. This evening we bid a fond au revoir to the city of light with our final dinner together. B/D
Day 8 •Saturday, June 27
This morning after breakfast we depart for the airport for our return flight home. B

- Transportation via private, deluxe air-conditioned motor coach for airport transfer, day trip to Versailles and evening tour of Paris on day 3
- Seven day Metro Pass
- Accommodations (double-occupancy) in superior three-star and moderate four-star hotels
- Meals as indicated in itinerary
- Services of a professional tour guide throughout tour
- Admission to all activities listed on itinerary
- Luggage handling: one piece per person at hotels
- Trip journal
- All taxes and tips for services provided including end of tour gratuity for tour leader and driver
Your Tour Does Not Include:
- Airfare and related taxes and fees
- Meals not indicated on itinerary
- Beverages except with breakfast
- Items of a personal nature such as passport fees
(Passport must be valid six months beyond return date.)
- Optional insurance for health (This insurance is available and recommended.)
A deposit of $500 per person is due
with reservation. Final payment is due 75 days prior to departure date. An invoice
will be sent out prior to final payment. Both the deposit and final payment may be made by personal check, money order, or credit card. However, credit card payments will incur an additional 3% surcharge.
Currency exchange rates fluctuate constantly. In the event of a significant drop in the value of the dollar, we reserve the right to add a currency surcharge to the price of the tour.
All cancellations must be in writing and date of postmark will determine the amount of refund due. Regardless of reason, cancellations are costly. If you cancel, all unrecoverable expenses from our suppliers will be charged, in addition to the following charges per person:
Time of deposit to 120 days before departure: $200
119-75 days before departure: forfeiture of deposit
74-60 days before departure: 25% of total package price
59-14 days before departure: 50% of total package price
13 days or less: 100% of the package price
There are no refunds for unused/missed days.
IMPORTANT NOTE: This tour requires walking and standing for several hours at a time during museum visits and walking tours.
